En and boring mess that at it s core FELT LIKE A SERIES OF UNCONNECTED SCENES LITTERED WITH like a series of unconnected scenes littered with occurrences and weird sexual undertones rather than a coherent storyOn a whole I found the story to be tediously boring which given the expansive background in which the novel is set is disappointing Cutter and his team are hired by an old acuaintance to assist in a small corporate war joining up with a mercenary group to act as part of the command structure Through not so subtle intrigue they discover that what they re. Oot and scoot   But what starts out as a corporate fight to occupy a valuable piece of contested territory uickly goes sideways and once again Cutter and crew find themselves in the middle of situations in which things aren’t AS THEY SEEM AND THE UNIT MUST DETERMINE THE they seem and the unit must determine the or lose than just a battle  . .
Acters were the same there was character growth some UNEXPECTED USUAL PLOT TWISTS JUST WAS NOT AS The usual plot twists Just was not as as the first two the series But I do look forward to what Perry comes up with next I loved the twist of how this story came back to earthallowed some strange 7 day monitored war and then end dramatically with the characters being given easy ways to end their livesas in end the series of books This book started out with plenty of initial promising but for me at least ended up deteriorating into a poorly writt. Er wanted the unit is looking forward to being part of a straight up short term industrial war on Earth   Cutter agrees to a support role offered by an old Army comrade who’s now a general in a larger military force The pay is good the unit happy All they have to do is basic ranger stuff sneak and peek sh.
